i heart new york {day two}

today i took 432 photos. that makes a total of 547! as long as i keep up my pace (and it is a struggle) i think i will succeed in my challenge.

today i also:

wandered around greenwich village.

drank a cafe au lait at cafe doma (love).

heard french allover the place.

had to go to the bathroom so bad i was shaking and almost in tears.

was treated extremely rudely by the man in a vintage shop in soho- it is called chelsea girl couture. officially boycotting.

bought a teal hat on the street from a man from senegal. i almost hugged him when he told me.

walked above the blocks on the chelsea highline.

shopped in soho.

discovered the chelsea market, which i absolutely loved. (and stumbled into an anthropologie.)

was accosted by two different activists groups. the environmentalist guy laid it on thick for me not being willing to give $20 a month. it was rude. and insensitive. and he even knew that i’m unemployed. it makes me mad remembering it.

did not buy a sparkly beret (that was half off) that i now regret a lot.

went to a mexican restaurant and had delicious guacamole.

remembered the first time i ever heard of h&m, where i embarrassed myself in front of the guard, and then immediately called allie to see if she remembered it.

rode on the subway a million times. (and even got confused once)

went to the biggest photography store i’ve ever been in.

and here is my very favorite for the day:
