madison and freddy // {austin vintage-inspired wedding photography}

Happy Thanksgiving!

I know quite a few families who have a lot to be thankful for this year, mine being one of them. But Madison and Freddy’s families are so blessed to be joined together with this marriage. Traveling to Texas for work makes my heart full and this wedding embodied so much of what Texas is. The people, the food, the surroundings. I’m so proud to be from there and definitely honored to have been part of this day. Side note- did you know that the state capital of Texas is the only capital bigger than the national capital?

In all seriousness, I loved getting to know this couple and their families and rejoiced with them as they became officially married. Everything Madison planned for the wedding was special and unique to them, and I love seeing that creativity come out.  Some of the things that stood out most to me were all the details to commemorate Madison’s father, like the blue heart sewn into her dress from one of his hats.  Also, I once again love the wedding party shots. Those are always some of my favorites, despite the fact that it feels like pulling teeth every time I take those photos. Everyone seems to be convinced that they don’t look good if they don’t smile, or that doing something crazy is weird.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this wedding and it’s Austin, Texas charm!
