catherine and mike. {virginia creative engagement photography}

catherine and mike are getting married in orange, va in october and i can’t wait for their wedding! i loved working with them because they are up for anything and they totally trust me when i have crazy ideas or ask them to be willing and ready for anything. virginia’s spring rainy season caused our session to be moved to a totally different town only a few hours before the time we were supposed to meet. but it turned out to be a HUGE blessing because i got to spend some time with fuzzy animals on a farm owned by some of my friends from church. and i’ll get to photograph their life and family in a couple of weeks when they have new tiny baby chicks. and catherine and mike brought along their super fun and photogenic pup- abita. i had a blast chasing her around trying to get in some good photos. and tanny, well tanny is mike’s truck. she has played a significant role in their relationship and they wanted to incorporate her into their photos as well.

anyway, enough with my words, get ready for some serious creativity and sweet farm love.

these cows were awesome. a little intense, but i love the way they were staring at me!
