tahnsss. i love you.
Good stuff Tahni. I know that you are fighting hard against how your parents raised you (trust me, I know) and what they wished for you. But you are your own person.
I know I have asked this before, but have you read any of the book we sent you "Money, Possessions and Eternity" by Randy Alcorn. With all these thoughts in your head – THIS is the time to start reading that and seeing what God has to say about jobs, cash, giving, loving others and serving Him.
Love you!

For the record, your dad cares more about you being happy than being corporate. I would not be more proud if you were working for big bucks. Your education is simply a stop on your life journey and it takes you to multiple road choices. Much like me evaluating the best route (out of 3) to get us to Nashville tomorrow, you must decide the best route for your future. For instance, I am pondering a longer distance option in favor of all interstate highways. Perhaps you want to take the off-road approach for your life.
I apologize if I ever made you feel as though you are less valuable to me because you may choose a different route than I would have chosen. Your happiness has always been paramount to me, ALWAYS! When God is put in the driver's seat amazing things happen. Seek His will and the rest is all bug spit.
A man named Rollo May once said, "The opposite of bravery is not cowardice, but conformity." It is not brave to conform to any world standard. This is the state of our world today. People looking for the purposeless easy way, oft times at the expense of others who need bold brave people to make a difference that matters. Be brave!
I Love You,
Dad
