Tuscany Vineyard Wedding // Destination Wedding Photographer Italy

When I’m traveling, and admittedly, even when I’m not, the thing I hear the most often is “people actually book you to come across the world to shoot their wedding?!”

And I suppose it’s so normal to me that sometimes I forget how truly blessed I am. I try to take their incredulous exclamations with a grain of salt. Not everyone values photography in the same way, and not everyone has to like the way that I photograph weddings and people.

I love travel. I love it so much that I decided to get a degree in it and then pursue a career that allows that to be my lifestyle. But I can say with full sincerity that what made this wedding in Italy so special was Rebecca, Arie, Adir, Stasi, Brittany, Bryan, Paul, Vicky, Taylor, Tim, Lauren, Dianne, Dani, Freddie, Carrie, Roberto, Maria, Gustavo, Ana and Cami.

Italy was stunning. The wedding was glorious. But better than those things was that this hodge podge group of crazy people let me join them in Italy; travel with them, eat with them, wine with them, play with them, and work with them. It’s an entirely different ballgame when the ups and down of international travel fast-track you to friendship with the wedding group. Every photograph is meaningful to me. Some make me tear up and some cause bursts of laughter. Either way, this blog post invites you into something sacred.  And I even make an appearance!

Make sure you have a little bit of time to scroll through and enjoy this one. It’s long, but it’s beautiful. 🙂
